Product Overview

  • A Cast & Cure film printing machine is an advanced inline finishing system used to enhance printed substrates.
  • Applies a UV varnish onto the substrate surface.
  • Presses a micro-embossed film onto the wet varnish.
  • Cures the varnish under UV light, transferring holographic or textured patterns.
  • After curing, the reusable film is peeled off and rewound for repeated use.

How It Works

  • Varnish Application: A standard printing or coating station applies a layer of UV-curable varnish onto the substrate (paper, film, etc.).

  • Film Nipping: A separate module nips a micro embossed film (which carries the pattern) onto the wet varnish.

  • UV Curing: The varnish and film assembly passes under UV lamps, instantly curing the varnish.

  • Film Removal & Rewind: The embossed film is peeled away, eaving the cured pattern in the varnish, and is hen rewound for reuse.
